Frequently Asked Questions / Technical Support

I have "jerky" audio or video in the video window. All available features, like slides and interactivity are functional.

Check your internet connection speed by right clicking on the video window and selecting the "Statistics" tab. If your current connection is anything lower than 100Kbps, your connection speed is not fast enough for this service. Close out the window and try using the "audio only" link (if available).

I have no audio or video in the video window.

Do you have a version of Windows Media Player older than version 6.0? If so - upgrade to 9.0 HERE.

Does your company block streaming media through it's firewall? Contact your IT department about this issue.

I have video, but no audio.

Be sure your computer has audio capabilities (sound card & speakers); then be sure your volume is turned on. (Right click on the speaker icon in the bottom right hand corner of your screen, uncheck any mute options and push the sound levels up to your desired listening level.

The "zoom slide" feature is not functioning.

Pop-Up blockers disable this function and will cause it not to work. Disable your pop-up blocker to regain functionality.

I have no "Submit a Question/Polling" window in the bottom right corner.

Trying closing the webcast window and rejoining the webcast.

I have the whole presentation showing on my computer, but my projector shows only the video.

This is most often a Widows XP issue. If you are running your computer in "extended monitor" mode on Windows XP, this may happen. You'll need to go into your display properties, and switch from extended monitor to a "mirror" mode. (note: each video card is different, this may take some trial and error to complete).

Another option is to call the projector your primary display and your laptop your secondary display.
